Microsoft Excel 97 to 2010
This is a one-day course aimed at the new/inexperienced user of Microsoft Excel. Using the ‘hands-on' approach candidates will develop an understanding of the use of spreadsheets and be able to create simple spreadsheets for the workplace.
User friendly course material and the assistance of an experienced trainer will allow delegates to develop their skills and knowledge at their own pace.
With the emphasis on a hands-on approach to learning, delegates may bring along work on the day to learn how to achieve the desired results giving real immediate benefits.
Delegates complete a pre-course checklist to identify areas where they may have prior experience and to identify personal objectives for attending the course.
The foundation course covers the items listed below which we can modify to allow individuals to achieve their personal objectives.

- Editing the worksheet
- Formatting the worksheet
- Basic use of formulas
- Ranging the worksheet
- Page set up and printing
- Using Help facility
- Creating charts
By the end of the course delegates will have:
Developed their knowledge of Excel and be able to create simple spreadsheets, edit and format data and create charts. They will also have an understanding of the use of formulas and how spreadsheets can be used effectively in the workplace.
