Microsoft Outlook 97 to 2010

This is a one-day course aimed at the new/inexperienced user of Microsoft Outlook. The course will provide insight into Oulook’s extensive information sharing and collaboration capabilities by providing an overview and an introduction to the uses of the applications.

User friendly course material and the assistance of an experienced trainer will allow delegates to develop their skills and knowledge at their own pace.

With the emphasis on a hands-on approach to learning, delegates may bring along work on the day to learn how to achieve the desired results giving real immediate benefits.

Delegates complete a pre-course checklist to identify areas where they may have prior experience and to identify personal objectives for attending the course.

The foundation course covers the items listed below which we can modify to allow individuals to achieve their personal objectives.

Course Content:

  • Managing e-mail
  • Creating a Contacts
  • Using Calendar
  • Organising Tasks
  • Using the Journal facility
  • Archiving Outlook items
  • Sharing folders with other users

By the end of the course delegates will have:

  • Developed your knowledge of Outlook that will allow you to effectively manage personal and business information such as your e-mail messages, appointments, contacts, tasks and file management.
