Microsoft Word 97 to 2010

This is a one-day course aimed at those wishing to develop a good foundation level in using Microsoft Word for the production of professional looking reports, letters, forms and CVs. The course will concentrate on developing skills in using some of the more commonly used features of Word, providing a solid foundation for moving onto a more advanced level.

User friendly course material and the assistance of an experienced trainer will allow delegates to develop their skills and knowledge at their own pace.

With the emphasis on a hands-on approach to learning, delegates may bring along work on the day to learn how to achieve the desired results giving real immediate benefits.

Delegates complete a pre-course checklist to identify areas where they may have prior experience and to identify personal objectives for attending the course.

  • Page set-up feature
  • Using toolbars 2003 or ribbons 2007/10
  • Using templates
  • Formatting text features
  • Inserting symbols
  • Using Styles
  • Inserting page breaks
  • Inserting headers and footers
  • Using search and replace
  • Checking and printing documents

By the end of the course delegates will have:

Developed skills in using Word by ‘hands-on' practice using user friendly training material that allows them to work at their own pace. Each course has the services of a friendly, experienced trainer.
